Preparing for the
scientific and technological world

Planning for success in the classroom is a necessary component of teaching. Both the "way we teach" and the "what we teach" make a difference in student learning.

Successful teaching is accomplished when students enjoy your class, are able to apply concepts, develop a positive attitude towards the scientific process, become more able to make informed decisions involving science and technological issues, and they recommend your class to other students.

There are a variety of instructional strategies that can help achieve class success in science literacy as stated in the National Science Education Standards and state curriculum frameworks.

In addition to the instructional strategies mentioned above, there are several models and lesson plan strategies that I use in curriculum design and in making lesson plans
