b. Carefully add two drops of iron (II) sulfate (FeSO4) to the depression and gently mix the two solutions with a toothpick to form a single layer of solution.

c. Working carefully and slowly, add two drops of concentrated sulfuric acid so the solution flows along the wall of the depression to form a second layer above the fist one.
